ace cafe warning letter
what they are saying is that any fucking about outside will mean they will close early and report stuff to the police
not sure about how legit it is, but it's out there folks, someone will know for sure

I had spoken to staff about this as I got a more explained message in a email as most club organisers did, what was acceptable behavior back in the day is not now, so people have to go with the times in a nutshell as arsing around on a public road simply cant be tolerated.

i dont want to be a killjoy but i make them right. back when i were a lad i used to love all the burnouts and racing, but i just dont feel it anymore.
maybe im just an old bastard now, but i prefer either admiring the beauty of the pre 90's or seeing them thrashed round a track, or atleast driven erraticly in a safe environment. not saying i didnt enjoy our night at the ace, but there was a lot of dangerous driving going on outside and a few near misses. and one wrote off s1

your not alone Stu as the ace cafes history is all about the antics outside on the road and funny enough its mainly bikers that come a cropper, but the ace used to turn a blind eye to the goings on as it attracted paying customers but now in 2014 they are becoming under pressure to do the right thing, my son goes to bike night every friday and is always telling me of accidents etc on their nights

If there weren't so many accidents I'm pretty sure most would still turn a blind eye but current events cannot be allowed to go on the way they are.
I'm sure I'm not the only one in this boat. I no longer go because I don't want my car or myself at risk of being hit by these "show offs". If people controlled themselves better then I'm sure a lot more people would attend.
If you still want to arse about attempting to drift then join a drifting club and go along to their practice days. Then you won't look like such a prat in public!
My 2p.

there is some points in what you say phil, I run passionfords event there and have been for past 3 years and this years was attended by 1000s too as can be seen in performance ford magazine august issue, but the only incident that has happened was this year but it was a few 100 metres up the road and out of anyones control as nearly all were in the carpark checking out the passionfords crews cars
