Depends how much you'll re coop in parts i guess, or more for the whole car how prices are these days. Shame to see them getting broken imo but it's owners choice obviously

 

if its a nice car i would sell the 500 parts off.then get standard replacements and sell the car off in one go if possible mate.

all depends what money you will be happy with, either selling just the expensive parts or breaking all of the car.

you only get one chance to keep it as once its gone it will be hard to find another one for reasonable money.

I doubt many people are breaking decent 3 doors now as the prices are really going up.

 

As above, from what I've seen a nice 3dr is what, 15ish + or - ?
Are you going to get that in bits?

Paid more then that for mine but can't see it getting near that in parts ?

RS breaker should know what a complete straight car might make, maybe they will chip in ?

 

Can't see the problem myself, without folk breaking cars how the hell would most of us keep ours on the road.

Folk keep saying prices are rising but in the same breath folk are also skint at the moment

 

Guys a word of warning, this is by far the worst 3dr I have seen in years, its defo a breaker, but be warned.

Back home after a wasted 5 hour round trip.

After weeks of going back and forth with Barry the seller, he finally decided he wants to sell, so we agree a price after numerous texts (why don't people pick up a call to talk any more), I gather some details and alarm bells start ringing and I should have gone with my gut feeling but thought I would give it a chance as I wanted the 500 bits of it for my road car.

I'm still in shock at what I seen tonight, I'm not going to get into any dirt slinging but the only decent thing about this car is the front bumper.

If this car is worth 12k mine is worth Ł50k.

 

Why do people advertise cars for sale only to gauge interest. It's as annoying as fuck.

You either want to sell it or you don't.

payed for a back bumper of this guy and still waiting for it! its been months now!

 

Shell is a blatant ringer and I'm not kidding.

This car uses the id of a black 3dr Cossy and according to dvla it's had a colour change and according to vosa it's has multiple mileage discrepancies, and I can assure you, this shell has never been black, despite the sellers claim it's had a bare metal repaint and poor paint job at that .

No vin tags present, floor numbers look like a blind person has stamped them in, and the general quality of the car is beyond a joke it really is, worst interior I've seen, fit for the bin, overspray every where, under bonnet looks a royal mess.

I'm still in shock now to be honest.

The only positive or should I say funny thing about the whole viewing was being met by 2 Chavs in a run down area, looking like something out of pulp fiction, I'm sure they were both nice guys, but shady as foooook, both knew what a shed it was...from another planet, no morales or regard for anybody travelling to view the heep.

Barry I really hope you don't stitch anybody up, I've had nothing but aggro dealing with your consistent bull shit and blatant lies.

The front bumper is the only good part on this car.

This car has been dodgy since the start. It went missing then found but was an inside job from painter etc etc. No wonder you want to get rid of it!

 

Mate there is nothing dodgy about this car I only want rid as I hav had it 8 years now and feel it's time for a change I don't really care if I keep it another 8 years tbh
