Escort Van MK6 internal tunnel plastic

Scratching my head today...i want to remove the rubber carpets from my van.i cannot work out how to take the plastic tunnel out.
The bit with the gear stick and handbrake.Thanks if you can help.

normally just pull the gearlever gator surround up from the centre console and theres 4 x 10mm nuts and possibly a screw on end near handbrake
