Default How could you park like this?!

so this is how some pikey has left his van tonight - this is the driveway to my appartment building:

Background is that they are proper Roma gyppo's that rent the hall at the top of my road every Sunday night to meet up (and I presume discuss theiving ) so although one of my neighbours has put a note under the windscreen wiper there's no way I'm kicking off with a full tribe of gyppo's on my doorstep. I've only come back tonight so just had to park on the road, but some of my neighbours are blocked in the car park - you'd be fucked if had to go to work......

Cunts.

nothing other than selfish ignorance to block someones access. prop some nails up against the tyres underneath so when they pull away it pushes them in....

The gap between the bollards is a foot either side of my car - the only thing you'd be backing in there would be a moped

Fucking wankers tbh - you just couldn't look at that as you walked away and just shrug youe shoulders

So do you think parking a van half way across the entrance is acceptable? I would be fuming if I lived there!!

They have obstructed your access to the queens highway which is an offence. Phone th epolice and they should attempt to contact the owner to get it shifted and/or tow the vehicle away.

They will likely tell you it's a civil matter but they are obliged to sort this one.

yep get the 5-0 to shift it. Once they turn up and if they get no reply from the registered keeper, they will tow it as its blocking access.

Problem is getting them to turn up as said above they will often qoute "civil matter" as an excuse not to come when in fact its NOT a civil matter and is still a criminal offence. Blocking access to highway, parking in dangerous place, on zig zags at crossing etc were NOT decriminalised.

Way to get them to come is say you are about to smash up a van.

if a short wheel base sprinter is 5.4 metres long and just over half is covering the entrance,

Why are you trying to justify the way the ignorant moron has parked like that ?
The other thing you may not have thought about is access for emergency vehicles. Try squeezing a fire engine past it!!
To answer your sarcastic question about how am I in car parks, when I am in a car park I park properly in the marked bays like any other decent driver.

Shocking stuff, as mentioned call the police, would be nice for them to do something motoring related that actually helps someone for a change!
