This might be a bit of a silly question but could someone please explain the differences between the mk1 rs2000 and mk1 Mexico, whenever I admire them at the shows I'm unsure? Also which is the more collectable/sort after out of the two models? Thanks

Mk1 Mex came from factory with 1600 crossflow, whereas RS2000 used a 2.0 pinto - probably the main difference!
Mex has thin stripes along top of wing, door and rear quarter whereas RS had a thick stripe along the middle...although they could be specified without.
As far as I know they were both known as type 49 shells that were built at AVO so think they have extra strength points to base model shells?
I'd imagine the RS2000 was more expensive back in the day however I'd say each is as collectible as each other! I'd love either lol!
