The other day i striped 2 of my my cvh turbo heads done to port them. Both heads were taken off cars i had bough in the past on both occasions i was told that these cars had piper 285t2 cams in them (im not a big fan of them my self). I never checked or took any notice until the other day as i say when i striped them.

The one is clearly a 285t2, it has a fairly small valve lift and a long duration, it also helps it has 285t2 stamped on it lol.






Heres were i need a bit of help, the other cam is clearly not the same. Its got a lot more lift and less duration. Its got EC 286 etched on it rather than stamped also from what i can make out either 8090 or 3090. It has more numbers on but i cant make them out.

Any 1 know what this cam is?

It's a standard camshaft. Picture shows what models it fits. Just looks like it's for any 1.6 cvh

U sure bud? i must have 20 std cams and non are like this. Also no ford cast into it.

It will only have ford stamped if it's a genuine 'FORD' camshaft. That's a pattern part
