Default door cards

Has anyone fixed there shrunken door card material. I have put my door card into get fixed but every time the guy stretches the material and glues it down over nightIit shrinks and his glue doesn't seem to be strong enough he used staples but the just popped out.

You could try Dunlop contact to contact glue , I used this in the past and it's a git to pull apart
That's if you ain't tried it already

The guy that's doing it is a upholster so it's a spray adhesive he uses

I have tried but no success, I have got through three sets and still have a drivers front that needs doing, I might get a set of four flocked and be done with it

Just bought glue from Kent trimmers they say they have never had any complaints so I will let yous know how that goes. I can't even find new material.

Got mine re-trimmed in leather by Trimmania near Reading, expensive but awesome result

Ade could you post up some pics please as my mate got some rears done but they had to stitch around the door handles.

I think they where pressed when first made hence why there difficult to repair.

Mine were stitched also, but the finish was fantastic Paul. Don't have any pics yet mate, haven't fitted them

I'm doing a few changes to the interior on the sapph and just had my door cards flocked colour matched to the vinyl and i re stuck the leather panel back on

Flocking is nice when new, but unfortunately it's a night mare to keep clean
