Are they that similar though?? I thought although the main boards etc are based on the same architechture, youd come across some serious firmware clashes or redundant componants not on one model thats used on another and vice versa.

Being they are the same model, I would have thought they are the same, for example the F40/ Maserati Bi Turbo etc have P8's as well, to name a couple.
Unless there are different models of the same ECU?
