Default St170 tubular manifold

Hi there I was just woundering if anyone has fitted a tubular manifold to therry st170 and what positives or negatives have you seen from it.

They have a good tubular manifold as standard

Sorry didnt make it clear I meant instead of a 4-2-1 manifold a 4-1 manifold look at ebay item 190454056868 cheers lee

  • Increases horsepower by a minimum of 15BHP, Dependant upon engine mods


I think they are mixing Maximum up with Minimum


  • Improve Exhaust Gas Flow and Increase Turbo Spool up and Reduces Turbo Lag

And errrr what now????

Bad description I know this one a bit more likely 110596106464 but has anyone changed the standard one to a 4-1 branch as currently have a decat and full milltek system

All I can see that doing over a st170 manifold is braking.

Im probably gunna say no one has done it then lol I would have thought less curvs on the pipe would equal smother air flow

Its the length of the primaries that is important ... Curves can be beneficial for back pressure in a system.

Its regarded that ford did a good job on the ST170 system and there's little do improve on.
