im watching it as well, i thought CAT D was light damage, easy repair, how the hell can light damage include a bent chassis leg
possibly due to driving in to a concrete bollard ![Wall](https://passionford.com/forum/images/smilies/wall.gif)

That's just gotta be bullshit in an effort to drive the price up, people instantly believe what is written on the internet. I'm sure this is at least the 2nd time Ive seen this on eBay, and last time it was at a lot less.

Agreed, I'm surprised that's gone down as Cat D and very surprised someone was paid £12,000 for it!
Saying that, it looks very clean outside, perhaps it's had an expensive resto and therefore the previous owner got it down as an agreed valuation.

Id value that car about 5 or 6 grand pre accident, there is wear on the steering wheel and seats so I cant see were the 12k comes from thou I would agree it is cat d by the time you strip off all the damaged parts it hasn't really got a lot of damaged and is an easy repair, i bought a saph a few years back with almost exactly the same damage witch was also a cat d that had only got 65k on the clock and was paid out £5300, I gave 3 grand for it.
