Superb, just think what it WOULD have made if you hadn't run out of injector time .

I look forward to seeing it on track . Please come up and introduce yourself and we can swap passenger time at Dono .

I think you're going to need to out the R&D with that much torque unfortunately .

Jon and Nick are busy fitting the motor, so I'll answer.

Jon had a brand new block machined to fit his crank so that he could get rid of the Coopers Ring setup the original block had and bring things more up to date.

8 greens are flat out at 580bhp...not the best situation tbh and i would suspect he wont be running 32psi incar...great figures if only youd gone 8 greys like i am and you power would have been over 600bhp @ 2.5bar...i take it the power was acheived on optimax????

Arnt you running the 1.06 housing if so when did it reach full boost????and at what rpm did it peak???

PS great result..dont think i am knocking it in anyway.

Phil, with the big exhaust housing thats fitted, the GT35 is
a 700 BHP turbo.........so 8 x greys would be spot on

People keep saying a GT35 is a 700bhp turbo with the larger ex housing on it? Where people get this idea from? Anyone ever see a GT35 get anytihng even close 700bhp? Even 650? No.
Its not the exhaust housing thats the restriction.

Barely over 600bhp IMO

Even a GT40 is only a 700bhp rated turbo...

Steve it depends on spec.....use race fuel and i feel its a 680bhp turbo...normal fuel 650bhp MAX....thats from research.

Plus no one runs the 1.06 housing!!!!!Rod made 630bhp on the .86 didnt he?

Honestly, i dont care what gets said, anyone seen RR/Dyno PROOF that a GT35R compressor can flow anywhere near 700?

Ive seen GT40s hit it on race fuel , but unless they on the lovely nitrous ive never seen a GT35'd compressor car get anywhere near 700, and FFS, providing the ex housing can go there, a T2'd car can hit 700 on the gas....

Quick Reply: My engine just made 580bhp at 32psi!
