Hi Guys,
On my turbo i have a union as the following photo shows, this is suppose to be connected to the intake manifold.

1) is the Intake manifold to Turbo Charger breather

On my engine i no longer have the pcv set up as shown, so do i need to have the hose going from the turbo to the intake manifold? What does it do?
Cheers
Martin

If you have an effective breather system and you wish to recirculate back into the inlet tract then you can use it.
This is rarely desirable.....although it would be more emissions compliant than venting breathers to atmosphere.
Although directly into the turbo is the last place I would do it if I did wish to recirculate.

Thanks for the response.
The engine is dry sumped so the block is sealed and the only breather is at the oil tank end. I will plug it up![Top](https://passionford.com/forum/images/smilies/smile011.gif)
Thanks for your help.
