Default Ford Fiesta MK6 Stereo

Hi Guys,

First post - so if it goes wrong, sorry!

I have a 2004 plate Ford Fiesta mk6 with an RDS4500 radio (photo attached)

Could someone let me know how to get a new radio in there? I am after something like this..

Also, if they could let me know what kit's needed - rough costs etc.. I'd be very very grateful!

You will need this:

And a hack saw blade to cut the dash to fit it as below. It's a tricky job to do by the way thanks to the stupid heater controls!

Welcome to PF

Just had a double din tv fitted in a mk1 focus today,
Labour was Ł80 and I was there for a good few hours, Most of the work was changing the fascia, ( As above the heater controls A/C buttons were a pain )
Not sure if its the same for the fezza but mine needed a bit of cutting in the back (test and cut test and cut) so that's why it took a while.

car hi-fi centre
on Romford road near Ilford did it for me.

Mk1 Focus is different to Mk6 Fiesta. Fitting a double DIN in a Focus is a massive ball ache too, they don't really fit!

For the Fiesta, once the heating controls are sorted and dash is cut it goes straight in.

Yeah I was adding the labour change of mine, Cause I'm sure the focus is harder to sort than a fezza, so ball park figure for labour on the fezza,

To be honest I wouldn't cut the fascia, I would buy one already cut or pre-made for the job so it all can be put back to original when the car go's up for sale.
