Annual services, not on mileage.?

Cambelts at 56k, 82k and 90k, must be on age.

I wouldn't see mileage as that much of an issue IF the car was really good underneath etc.

Don't think I'd pay Ł20K for it though.

It's exactly that. Time or mileage, whatever comes first as oils break down over time and lose their lubricating properties.

89,567 Autocare Ware Oil Service + Diff / Gearbox Oils etc
90,081 Autocare Ware Oil Service + New Cambelt + Brake Discs

Wouldn't touch it with a bargepole after those clowns have had it. Took 6 months to do a service and sump gasket on a b5 passat, left half the subframe bolts loose and destroyed the 3 mounts on the front.....

Possibly a tad high taking into account mileage.
Values are holding well, but not quite that high yet.
I sold mine with 54k miles for Ł16k, totally standard too

The miles isn't that bad.

I really don't see how people take into account the mileage on a 27 year old car .

Mines done 106k 27 years old !! its spent more time sitting about.

and for all these super low mileage cars out there , they still need work. Bushes, shocks are all still old.

In fairness it depends what you want to do with it, if you're showing it then maybe it makes sense, people that would pay Ł15k for one would probably spend Ł4k sorting bits anyway, it depends how anal you are.

Exactly mate. It's hardly a lot of use, it averages at under 3500 a year. Low mileage doesn't really count for a great deal on cars that age as long as they have been looked after.
