My advice? Dont do it... I recently spent nearly £400 on a top of the range fitted outdoor covercraft cover and its totally fucked my paint (paint was perfectly good), the cover hasnt let moisture out so the entire cars paintwork is blistered all over. Full respray required. I let the car breathe without the cover off as often as I could and treated it all with kid gloves, but theyre just crap! If you cant get the car into a garage then two options only in my eyes - 1) no cover and keep it cleaned and waxed regularly or 2) spend a bit more and get an outdoor carcoon. Would tell anyone who asks me, to never risk an outdoor cover.

Your paint wasn't great to start with then. Moisture can't get under your paintwork if it's good. Most likely it was already there to start with.
I've had my car covered outdoors for years and I've never had any paintwork issues. I used a Classic Addition outdoor cover, but changed to a Specialised Covers Stormshield last year. Both aren't cheap, but they are well lined so they don't scratch the paint.
Personally I'd recommend the Stormshield.

i agree with ben, car covers tend to do more harm than good. if you can afford a carcoon then go for it, it its just for security, prying eyes are far more interested in something thats covered up
