Default mk4 escort bonnet woes...
My mk 4 escort was in for mot yesterday, mate pulled car over rolers with bonnet up and the bump made bonnet slam down. Now it wont shut on the latch. Looks to be working ok catch is free and lines up with pin ok just wont catch on the latch. Any ideas??

Is the reciever, where the pin slots into bent? Would be hard to tell, without comparing it to another I guess...?

Maybe I managed to get it to lock by extending the pin. could well have pushed it down with the force I guess. Not sure I trust it now??
