Anyone here used 4.4 ratio diffs on track?

Most rally cars are higher than 3.6/3.9 and I know there are a lot of Tarmac stages so what's your opinions?

with 6speed tall 1st gears maby yes, 100/120 in 6th max at 8krpm id guess depending what g/box you have

 

4.4 will be fine on most tracks if you've got a higher than standard rev limit.

depending on your tyre size you will be up to around 150mph at 8k rpm

 

SCS 500hp yb built for low down power, rev limiter capped at 7.5k, 17 inch wheels running 608mm to 620mm slicks with sweedish 5 speed fixit box...

Had 3.9's in my old car but that was road and track this is pure circuit now...

it'll be close to your rev limit on faster circuits
