Not sure if this is posted in the right place, but: I'm just finishing off the rebuild of my son's Mk4 Escort van (1988) and need a pair of (manual) window regulators - does anyone know where I can get hold of these please? I have the glass but the doors currently have electric windows from an old Orion, but I want to go back to manual. I've tried various breaker websites, but they are mostly idiots who tell you they've got exactly what you need, but in reality they don't. Any advice gratefully received. Thanks.

 

I do know that a door from an escort van fits a the front door of a 5 door hatchback cos I fitted one once to a 5 door hatch that had a damaged front door, so the reverse should be true.
here's two base model 87-89 Escrots that would probably have had manual windows so might be worth asking the sellers if they have the reg's still available.
