I put coilovers, big wheels and low profile tyres on my 330d. Thats a daily driver and its not a performance car!! Its purely about the look. But for the likes of a cossie or anything remotely performance, it would do what you have just said. Koni adjustables, lowered a bit, chunky enough good tyres and polybushed etc - generally set up to handle 👍
