Default clutch sounds loose

Hi guys. Bit of advise please

I have a 2wd drive sierra cosworth. When I engage and disengage the clutch. Only while the car is running. The plate sounds as if it's loose. It's changes gears fine and drives however the sound sounds like it travels down the prop while I'm driving making gear changes sound really clunky.

If I sit there with the engine running while I'm hanging out the car. If I press and release the clutch. Out of gear. This is the looseness noise I am talking about.
So obviously I'm thinking the clutch is loose

Could anybody she'd some light on wot they think is happening??
And do people think I shud get this done asap? Or wait for it to get worse?
Thanx

What Slammedonion said.

I reckon if the clutch was actually loose it would have snapped its bolts by now and would probably sound horrific as soon as you start the car. If the clutch is fairly new i would look at it soon so you dont eat the finger sin the pressure plate.
