Hello, the bunch of cables the come out of the main engine harness and goes down the back of the engine what wires are in that?
I've been trying to find a Haynes manual or a wiring manual for a 96 Scorpio but not having any luck.
I'm striping the car to fit in a Sierra if anyone could help with what I don't need in the loom it would be great

Down the back of the engine, as in towards the gearbox? That'll be the gearbox loom. Will have wiring for the reverse switch lights, and if it's an auto, the wiring for the autobox.
