I sometimes experience the pedal pulse, when I first turn on the car and the first drive it usually does that. My lights come on, but some time it pulses with out the lights being on.

Took the car out last night with ABS on and done 120miles and the pedal definately felt better with it off

I dunno if its knowing if I wanna stop its gonna run on pulsing away

but when I unplug it the ABS the light comes on when I plug it in the light goes off if the pulsing is a fault and its not showing I'm thinking its an issue with big brakes with standard ABS.

cheers for all the replies people.

Dan,
Must be a problem with your car, as mine is mint on the braking front with the ABS on, and you can't get much bigger than 378mm discs with the WRC CP6235 6-pot calliper....

So, is that the official technical explanation then?

it's nothing to do with the bigger brakes dan. it does it on mine with std brakes, and sometimes on my other sierra 2.9 4x4. it's a minor fault, probably front sensors / sensor rings
