escort engine swop HELP
hi I have a escort van 2001 1.8 td engines just blown will a escort est car 1.8 td 1997 fit need help with this as when I look at the other engine the turbo is the other way round help me please

i think you have two different engines fella does the van say endura on the rocker cover and the estate turbo on the inlet manifold if so u have a bit of a mission ahead its a bit long winded to post it can be done but you have to change everything

hi both have endure on the rocker cover when you look at my van engine the turbo joint to the pipe is on the right but the other is on the left could I swop the manifold from mine to the other ok ? also my gear box needs taking of and puting on the other one
