I know this has bin asked many times but all I need is an extra parts list,
This it to all the people that has fitted a BOA into a 1.8cvh sapphire I know most of the sierras are the same and have the same fuse boxes, mountings etc
But just would like to know what you guys had to buy for it to to all fit and run

Type 9 box or hybrid?
Sierra v6 mounts? Do I need both?
Are all v6 flywheels the same?
Clutch kit or seperate parts?
1.8cvh prop and diff?
Fuel pump?

Type 9 isn't really up to it so hybrid or T5
Depends on arm length, xr4i x member and arms work. Others use 2wd x member and boa arms.
No the 2.9 is heavier and thicker.
Depends what you want but the Cossy yb ones fit and a transit one also fits both flywheels, the 2.8 one requires a mod to the gearbox to take up the thickness difference on the mt75.
Depends on what box you use really.
Cossy yb pump or v6 pumps have been used, depends what you have laying around lol
Have a look on fordpower mate hth Ade

Cheers ade
Apart from the 4i crossmember the rest seam pretty easy to source,
Looks as though best option would be YB fly/clutch and t5? Right through to prop and diff
I should still have a 044 lying around unless its seized up as the granny pump is fucked

I converted mine from a 2.0i DOHC. I still use the DOHC fuelpump and also the DOHC crossmember and engine mounts with the engine arms that belong to the BOA.
You have to use a V6 flywheel, you can't use a YB flywheel. I'd say the best option would be to use a 2.8 or 2.9 flywheel with a 2.9 clutch kit and a MT75 V6 box.
The prop depends on the gearbox. The standard diff can be still be used as all mountings for the prop are the same anyway.

Lol my bad I did think that as the size difference, looked a t5 boxes and there a bit pricey for what I want, so ill have to go down that route using v6 stuff

Xr4i box will be perfect so you could use, prop, mountings, and i think flywheel and clutch?
I would save your money and just fit the 2.8/2.9i from a sierra rather than using the Granada engine, that way everything is a nut and bolt job and you could just find a rotten donor car

I might put cossie rep on the boot and the twin turbo the BOA lol

Can you do a build thread off it? I Would like to boa my xr4i and be good to have a thread I could look at to see how difficult it is. Someone at local meet said the boa is dead easy and the bob is more difficult to do.
I like the idea of 200hp instead of the standard 150 ( if it was ever 150 as standard lol )
better fuel economy and the lovely sound of the 24valver

Yeh I'm going to do a build thread just need to get a few more pics and ill start one, the reason the BOB is a bit harder I beleive is due to the loom as its the later engine, by the sounds of things your find it easier as your starting off with a 2wd v6 already

My only problem is where I live, as it is now no one has even looked at it but as soon as the kit goes on with that lump it will draw attention to itself, but yeh I'm trying to go as near as perfect rep
