hey, sorry bout this...

jsut wondered.... im having trouble with photobucket, i go to upload pictures and it always comes up with page cannot be displayed, and so i tried image shack and i had the same problem.... do i need to adjust my settings or something? i havent changed anything since i last used it tres confused.

also... to access journals for uni off campus i need to adjust (change) my proxy server, so that it uses the uni ip address... i tried to do it through internet explorer and followed instructions but it didnt work, it recommended netscape and others... but if i download them what impact will they ahve on my computer?? i will only used the ip address when i need to use journals so if i downloaded, say, netscape, will that only be used then?? i want to keep my comp as it is now...

netscapes proxy settings affect only netscape.

internet explorers proxy settings affect everything that uses the microsoft internet interface (mostly only microsoft products)

if you wanna do it how you say, i'd reccomend justusing netscape / opera for the uni stuff... but then it only takes SECONDS to enable/disable the proxy anyway :P
