Its called having BALLS, Jim....LOL
A little restraint with the throttle hand goes a long way too.....
KNOWING you can do 180 if you want to is good enough for most people, there is no need to prove it on every outing.

in my garage ive got a kawasaki h2 750 2 stroke, in the 70s these were called the WIDOW MAKER, for obvious reasons, also a westfield megabusa, this is stupidly fast, i think if you want to ride bikes you have be bought up with them as your first form of transport

i started on bikes when i was 8 , passed my full test at 17 and still have the occasional thought ,
These things are gona kill me ,
Havin said that i just bought me new leathers for this year ( ripped the side out of my old ones when i lowsided on a round about ), pair of new BT010's and im all set for the 1st of april ,
as long as you respect a bike for what it is hen youll be fine , that goes for road and off road bikes

Never raced motocross, but had a few "outings" with the boys in blue when i was smaller(ask tiff, that was a while ago ) and always got away
crossers to me are easier to ride fast than any large CC sports bike. its all down to what you are used too. many a good superbike rider has learned alot from motocross and vice versa
seems like you jim ,have hamster bollocks and should stick to underpowered sierras

had a few bikes when i was younger. rm 80, rm 125, cr480(air cooled), ktm 250(air cooled), yz 80, ty175, dt 125, z250 ,rg250 !!!!!!!!!
the most mental bike i'v seen is the guy who built my engine's bike.
suzuki katana 1230cc, high comp, fully mappable management, 8 injectors, evo 6 wrc turbo with anti lag, custom plenum, lengthened swinging arm etc. road legal. last time it was dyno'd it was producing 321bhp at crank. that was with just 4 injectors and the smaller turbo. its a fuckin weapon. he's taking it to the pod.
he has been b4. last time he was there it was some street bike championship the week before. if he had went the week earlier he would have been quicker than the turbo'd busa that won.

Try riding an RG 500 Gamma, Fookin mental yoke. 500 2 stroke. Piss most of the modern stuff in a straight line. Also have a '80 XT 500 & a '03 DL 1000.

westy, me n me mates have got an old suzuki TS80...
its a complete piece of shit, but its still good for a laugh :P
its more than fast enough for my liking on the bumpy bits... going 70 (kph ) thru a 5ft x 5ft x 1ft pothole is kinda interesting
the thing that kinda shit me up, is that you'd be in 4th on this Kx only going slow, about 20-30mph and if you give it some throttle it'll still lift the front fookin wheel bit scary for someone like myself who has about 30mins experience total on shitty 50s and 80s and b4 that only ridden a mountainbike when i was about 12

I've had a few 500 cc mx bikes - they are propper mad!!
The R1 is much more progressive and stable- different beast alltogether....
if you want scary .. try highsiding your mx bike on the road flat out in 6th gear on knobbly tyres!!!
really hurts
DON'T FANCY DOING THAT AGAIN....
