Default What steering lock? (security)

As above. currently using a stop lock (grey and yellow bar) on the cossie.

but thinking to upgrade to a full disc lock.
Hear theyre hassle to fit everytime but its not a daily so doesnt really bother me.

Any better ones out there or is this the tried and tested best?

Cheers

Not really. You get used to fitting them regularly anyway.

i use a disklock with extra plates welded on so it cant be prised off
and a van lock welded on the front like they have on rear van doors.
probably takes 10 secs to fit so i dont see how thats a hassle if it helps deter the thieves.

I have a disk lock. Just watch your fingers if you do get one. A mini guillotine it is.

have you thought of the barier systems gear lock ?

They do a chassis mounted lock that locks the gears into reverse. that are Very difficult to get around! That were one of the few that were Thatcham approved and not beaten.
