im looking to do the water hoses on my s1

what size should i be looking at for the thermostat return to header tank and the water hoses?

thermostat return would be about -6 / -8
the water pump one you would need a mortgage

is it because it comes apart so much you need easier ways of undoing water hoses

Engine is mint.

It's the gearbox I could do with being on quick release

Wiggins clamp them and just aeroquip the small stuff. -6will do your return to header mate

There is another one like the wiggins but a lot cheaper .
But wiggins are used in a ridged mounted install as they have very little give

With the wiggins clamps.
Do they allow for any movement? As the rad is solid and the engine has gotta give a luttle

No , both components need to be ridged

My gearbox mounts are solid, engine mount is competition spec

But I would still think there is some play in it

Pull the hand brake on put it in gear and bring the clutch up and get a mate to have a look at the engine
