I went, was quieter than previous years but still some serious cars there. Stevie was there in the Granada which sounded amazing, Andy Forrest was fastest on the handling, clocked 212mph on the km with a serious headwind and ran 8.3@178mph in the final !!

 

My mistake, 210mph and a 8.4 from Andy Forrest.

Have they stopped advertising it? I haven't seen it mentioned on any forum for a couple of years now. Chris Mann used to be on every forum advertising it when he ran it.

 

I see the NMS Sunbeam did well as usual... proper weapon.

 

Bin on the decline for years sins it became the evo show and shine in the static show ground and redline stopped sponsoring it.
Don't any of you think it lost its way? As it was originally for the likes of us lot with street legal cars to race against each other. I like the fast cars tuned by tuners but also like to see what a lad with spaners can do.
Should have more classes and bring the fun back in it for the likes of us lot.

 

All the FWD lads are home builds I think?

His car was very fast and tbh very quiet. Obviously has a trick exhaust setup

 

Who has the sierra in class D that ran a 10.7? Any info/pics of it?

Anybody can enter. They got rid of the qualifying time to bring it back to being more open to the non tuner. Leading up to the event they still had spaces.

I did it in my car and thought it was the best value for money motorsport I have ever done. £100 to run both days with unlimited runs. The £100 included 2 entry bands and when you look at the price of them that meant running the car was £20!
