These seem to good to be true for under a tenner.


The reviews someone has a ST3 and seems to say it works fine (without disc).

Anyone had one? Can these find faults too?

funnily enough, all the people on amazon have had one and done you a favour by reviewing it for you . but what do they know?

ive got one with an app on my phone, works fine for fords and possibly other makes over yrs 2003 from what ive worked out but wont work before that as wouldn't wouldn't connect to my x reg focus or my mates w reg fiesta but works fine on my moms 04 fiesta

Depends on your expectations of them.

They will plug in, they will read some fault codes and offer some live data. Will it always work and be correct ? Absolutely not.

And any diagnostic tool is only that. A tool. It doesnt fix cars for you, it only helps the user by giving them more information.
However, as these cheap tools are very generic, often the codes they offer are either not correct or not specific enough.

But for Ł10 it would be hard to say they are useless either.

Well if this was my product i would put a couple of fake reviews so others read and buy them, i ask her to get real reviews.

I was just wondering if they could find some faults to help self fix cars before getting stung elsewhere.

I got one and use android app torque.

Has been really handy, live data is good with mpg temps.

I have used it on loads of car's, The only car it has not worked on was a MGF but I think that was because it was too old.
