I've heard horror stories about myhermes. But in fairness I've never had a bad experience with them personally!

there all the same it will get thrown about here there and everywhere so it must be wrapped accordingly, I have sold a lot of parts over the last few years buy a massive roll of bubble wrap off ebay iirc there £20 for the huge ones, and wrap it enough so basically you can punch it and the bubble wrap takes all the impact.

just charge for any materials and time in the deliver costs, that's what I do anyways

At the end of the day, unless you are prepared to pay for a dedicated service, the goods will get chucked and crushed into as small a space as possible in order to move them about efficiently and cheaply.

That's maybe not what the customer wants, but it's what they have driven the market to do with their lower prices.

It's up to you to parcel it accordingly so it cannot get damaged.

As for lost....it does happen, but it baffles me as to how it happens other than people not marking it up properly

I think a lot is to do with couriers being self employed too. Get more drops in.

I'm also a night sorter for parcelforce and lets just say we don't chuck parcels around.. We get scored on it and if you get x amount of points within a one year gap you can say good by too your job..

The way our team looks at it is we would rather handle 4000 parcels correctly so they get deliver in one piece rather than rush too get the last 500 off so there around 100's broken..
