you'd have a mondeo with the map sensor unplugged lol

no seriously, it'd prob throw up a fault code and go into limp mode,
BAD idea, the map sensor is 1 of the most important sensors on it, can melt engines if its dodgy

As said it will go into 'LOS', and log a fault, it will also run badly due to having to run with a generic value.

At the min I'm chasing my arse with a fault with engine. It'll rev stood still but in gear under load if I put my foot further than a quarter way down its like there's no fuel in tank. I've cleaned throttle body and changed throttle position sensor all to make no difference need help before my head explodes

Fuel starvation perhaps, when was the filter last changed? With things like this on a modern car you really want it 'scanned' for codes first, otherwise you can be throwing money at things trying to chase the problem!
