Anyone know how to widetrack a fiesta?
I want to build a widetrack mk5 fiesta. Any ideas on how to do the front end? Combination of shafts, arms etc? Focus maybe?

When you say front suspension - does that include subframe? Or are the arm mounts the same?
You say it uses focus shafts... will the inner cv joints fit the fiesta box?
I want to put a 2.0 Zetec na in it anyway so could I use focus engine and box and then frp subframe/hubs/legs etc?
Bodywork isn't an issue.
Do you know how much wider this will take me?
Thanks

Doubt you'll get 4 inch's either side without a lot of work/money!
I've got a racing puma rear beam on my mk5. With the discs and spacers of a frp beam and standard offset (et38) it made it 35mm either side.
You could do a disco conversion and the spacers quite cheaply, and get pug offset wheels (et15)
That would make it a lot wider on rear.
I guess on the front it would have to be longer studs, and spacers.
Just remember on the fiesta the back wheels are never as wide as the front anyway.

For the rear I'm going to space the stub axle from the beam by cutting off the flange that spaces the backplate from the trailing arm part of the beam and extending it to whatever track the front ends up.
So... the cheapest way I'm going to do the front is longer studs and hubcentric spacers (lets say 25mm) and then get ET15 wheels which will give me an extra 20mm? Am I right?
