sierra 3 door clutch cable
Hello spent most of day replacing my snapped clutch cable only to find I cant select any gears now.. and the clutch cable feels awfully light do I need to adjust it somehow and if so how

The outter black tube doesnt have to be tight, just the thin wire that comes out the end needs to be tight. Like the cable on your pedal bike brakes

just curious which way is the right way to route it? ive routed mine behind the cylinder head as no other way seems to go but being that my car is a project one and not the real deal i dont know the correct way to route it and cant find any info/pics of the right way, mine does work fine though

Can I ask if its a Cossie , if so you must use a genuine cable the aftermarket s are wrong length outer and wrong inner length but un matched in length so not relative to a genuine seen this problem sooooo many times , also just make sure your release folk hasn't popped off its retainer in the box
The correct way to route it is loosely down the inner wing round the front x member and into the box looks a mess but its right that's for a cossie
