Was nice to see you again

Amazing dyno setup! Couldn't beleive after a power run that the intercooler was stone cold thanks to the forced air feed and ventilation. Fookin brilliant!

Coffee was great and nice to meet James too.

Seeing as the sun was out I took the scenic route home

Hi Steve,
Great to see you again mate, its been far too long. Glad you like the dyno cell, I am pretty pleased with it all now and have got it running pretty much just how I like it now. That frontal cooling fan is impressive isn't it? That car had been on the dyno for almost 5hrs doing 500bhp during mapping when you arrived. the intercooler doesn't get hot no matter what we do to it. That 18-18 centrifugal fan is awesome!

Get the cossie dug out and strapped on mate.

Are you suggesting my cooling fan is actually BETTER than a 100+ MPH wind? Give that some thought mate...

It does IMHO. For many years I had an air inlet temp sensor post intercooler and just before the throttle body. A quick pullover over after a 'blast' confirmed that the intercooler was cold even though 100+ C air had been running through it, I'd have been seriously concerned if it was hot (or even warm) unless close to the turbo outlet.

As a biker I'm aware of windblast and even at 50mph I couldn't open my visor and be able to see properly. With the aforementioned car and 500 bhp you are likely to be doing much more than 50mph with 500bhp up yer arse!
