Default transit connect engine conversion

don't know if this is the right section but ive got a transit connect 1.8tddi

I want to fit a bigger engine in it simple as but don't know much about the ford stuff ive been more into Vauxhalls over the years

so I hear a Focus RS lump will fit (does this have a particular engine code?)

whats needed for the FRS engine to fit:

obviously engine gearbox ecu and fuel pump but what shafts what mounts etc etc also need to convert to 4 stud for the frs wheels

OR ive read about a zetec turbo??? what engine is this out of and again what parts needed to make it fit

cheers guys

Just a quicky, the RS lump is a Zetec turbo, Ford just badged it as a Duratec for some odd reason.

I think the Zetec bolts in place? I'm sure I read that somewhere but don't quote me on it.

Something else I've just thought of, speak to Chorley Street Garage, they've done several FRS conversions over the years and a 4wd Cosworth one too.

A quick google should throw them up.

I thought you could buy the connect as a petrol fitted with a zetec

So building a zetec turbo would work but I would just get a focus rs lump and fit with an after market ecu
