Thats cool, I just wanted to explain what was happning bud as I wonder if anyone else has had this? Mk hubs would be nice, but there is no money in the pot
The amount you had to drink Saturday night i wounder how you do F**k all on a Sunday fella
its was a good night fella t
Thank you for the beer fella it was good to catch up with you guys
What bearings does he use Doug? I would be using timkin, not happy shopper ones.
And get them pressed in rather than impacting
If that doesn't work then its simply a case we have pushed them past the limit of the std bearings so bigger and stronger is the only way forward,
I would advise short term sourcing a set of hubs and arms and have new bearings fitted in them so they can be swapped at events quickly should another failure occur, I'm sure they are pretty easy to get hold of for cheaps.
Which one was it? The O/S/F collapsed at round 1

This time it was the n/s/f. The lap before I took the kerb at murrays which is the left on to the pit straight and heard a clonk. Figured it was just a rise joint knock or something. Next lap round. Took the same amount of kerb and the wheel locked up resulting in the car having to be lifted back to the pits.
Would love a set of proper uprights. Just need the budget for them.
Kidney for sale anyone??

That is what I thought Tony as if you look at them it looks like the grease has burnt off and gone dry.. Deffo somthing we need to get on top of ay :0)
Spot on , the std hubs are crap , JG did experiment with milling them out and using a bigger bearing ,I cant recall if theres a spindle from the Ford range that has a bigger bearing land on it but its possible . Look at the size of a std bearing and you'll see just how small they are .
