Should be James, these were original fitment to the original RS500 touring cars, then subsequently the WRC works cars
It's the final piece to my transmission jigsaw

I don't see a problem using an alternative to the 9" Jim, if the 9" was sane money it would be the diff of choice but at the wrong side of 3k for a 3.6 it's a dear diff!

i dont think jimbo ment it like that mate, i think he just means the use of genuine parts ie supra diffs etc.

Nice piece of kit!
question is whats going to break next now you have moved the weakness away from the diff... hopefully the only thing it will break is traction

Well that's the thing, it has a Tremec TKO600 gearox, bespoke propshaft, so hopefully that should be it. Drive shafts will be up-rated soon as well....

Is there a half decent 4x4 gearbox that is not loud that is good for road work and maybe the odd track day but not drag strip stuff? Want it to be good for up to 450/500 bhp and similar torque?
Have heard people talk of big tooth but do not want the wine of a dog box.
I love the look of the nine inch, does that run a quaife internal or is it all ford?
