grippy cooont Ryan..........
Do me a nice engine loom please, and I will supply you with a pair of
QH TCA's from Partco £ 44.80 for the pair.........so if they only last a couple or years - you will still be "quids in"

OK, thanks - will need a loom but not sure of the exact spec yet.....
The only part that cannot be refurbished/replaced on TCA's is the pressed-in ball joint...
I looked into this when I had a whole load of shagged 4WD TCA's "lying around" (as I tend not to throw things away - sad)........I had 16 - 20 of the damn things but nobody could remove/press new ball joints into them - was told that it's a "one way" opperation and impossible to remove

If the TCA is off the car if and the ball joint feels loose - then it's deffo had it.
If it is ON the car and when levering against it you can see/feel movement within the ball joint/cup then it's time to fit new replacements
Trouble is, with extra leverage effect of big wheels and high grip/slick tyres, these joints are under far more load then Ford ever designed the joints to take. Bear in mind that the standard car spec of 15" wheels with 220 BHP. So it's no wonder they dont last long on modified cars

yeah there off the car, but i thought i could get gen ones refurbed and then get them made adjustable, but looks like its probably just worth getting adjustable straight away.
