Got this 2 litre mondeo mk3 that drives ok on the flat but try drive it up hill and it starts misfiring and backfiring into the inlet judders then cuts out. starts up straight away but the moment you take it over 2000 revs it splutters and dies. only time it did it on the straight was at 80mph and it wouldnt rev past 4000 revs then lost power but once i slowed down it picked up again.
