I've done that in my old Saff!

Hammered a socket on top of what was left and fitted an extension bar in it so I could get home

my temps were getting really really low on the motorway, then they would go up to normal again, then drop down again so i was a bit paranoid about getting there

the return trip saw non of that AND my air con starting working again so

Gear nob came off for me while changing from 1st to second, exhaust blow and nitrous not working but happy with 14.3 for my old xr4 that owes me and my mate under Ł1000.

Some quick stuff there, loads of mk1's in the 10's, wenny went 9.5 but lost the top of his door on his last run. Justins 3 door was very impressive running a few 11's until the cv joint broke.

The yellow mk1 escort with big power yb was going well, sure it went 10.3 on 6" slicks unarched! It was lifting the front wheel off the line.

My first show for 2 years. Met lots of peeps & enjoyed strip action. The support from Traders was very weak. I fear these show will end up my worst nightmare row apon row of Blue Foci. Please God dont let that happen.

It's turning into more of a social gathering now rod I think, the traders don't want to fork out lots to only sell enough to break even so they will drop out as well
I wanted to buy stuff there but here was nothing I could use other than number plates or cleaning products or bits of escorts so at least I didn't spend any money

Ill go to uxbridge as that is 5 minutes from my house and ill go to ford fair but other than that the show scene has died a death from where I'm sitting as far as the excitement of going to see something new and fresh is concerned

I might bring my lad to ford fair, he just goes bonkers when he sees cars, but other than that I'm just going to see the guys who I may or may not get on with on the Internet

Thought the show itself was very lame and getting worse each year, as dojj says if it were not for meeting mates i would ditch it totally, passionford stand looked busiest of show
