Wennys best today was a 9.56 @ 144mph. Ballistic speed and his goal ET. So quick in fact he found the strength limit of one of his fibreglass doors!

 

This year I never bothered to look round all the stands, regret it now but had little one plus Clarky had is drift session early on too but was good seeing a couple of you I did see

was one of the worst turn outs i can remember for central day seems all the fast fwd boys decided to stay at home for one reason or another and only one guy came to take the crown with a 12 in a black fiesta but there was a couple of fast rwd cars out one yellow one with a 10.2 yesterday and a blue one today with a 9.1 if i remenber right and of course wenny's back with the mk3 which performed great over the two days. Not sure what happened to all the campers as only seemed to be about 20 tents and the weather was lovely the 2 days too hopefully better turn out at classic as based on today you'd think the ford scene was dying/dead

 

Each to there own .. It's not about FWD cars for me it's about the Rs cars in general and the people and weather that make it for me .. Top day .. Really enjoyed it

 

I didn't bother going, it's only 10 minutes away, went out on my bike instead

 

don't get me wrong i did enjoy it but just seems that were getting a bit thin on the ground and i'm not to sure with the way ford are going with the rs brand that is what is not helping

 

What happened to the white devil developments fiesta? Didnt see it put any decent times in at all then seen its smashed up on the back of there truck?

 

clarkee did his run then when he came to apply brakes there was a problem resulting in a wheel lock up that put him into a spin which resulted in him modifying the ns of the fiesta and by the look of it bending the nsr wheel/axle lucky enough he wasn't going to quick lol

 

Not a fan of central day, 0-60 doesn't interest me, so spent the weekend in the lakes.

Anyone off here with a white 3dr, had its bonnet open at charnock Richards services, was with a second and few other RS,s.

 

It was a strange one - the show did seem quiet, the car park was a little empty and the racing was thin on the ground but the stands filled out the same amount!

I enjoyed it, always do like Central Day as it's a good social!

Shame about the Devil Developments car but it can be repaired and Clarke was alright!

I don't think numbers there was more this year tbh but compared to classic ford it was half empty as santa pod is rammed end to end at classic ford and we have to park handle to handle

Terminal was rubbish? Lol second time the car had ever driven further than a few feet so was on low boost doing a shakedown.

Lee laughed it off after he finally found out! He thought people were winding him up I think! Lol

 

Yeah it did seem quiet today compared to other years. The stand looked filled because they had closed 2/3 of it off so everyone had to fit in just 1/3 of it. Was bloody chilly sitting in the stand when the sun went in and the breeze picked up.

Who's was the moonstone Sapph that blew up on track about 10 minutes after the dinnertime restart? Saw metallic bits pop out the exhaust and new that shouldn't be happening.
