RAC have been bought out by the company that owns Norwich Union in the last week, and one of their first plans is to lose UK staff and outsource all the call centre work from abroad.

Make your own mind up on that!

the AA

my cossie bost on the way from an airport, just cut out, then was just turning over

cleaned rotar arm plugs leads etcetc no avail

called aa (wasnt a member tho cost me a couple hundred) and they went thru everything, ended up being a fuse for the wipers (yes the fuse pump was wired thru them)

the guy said i cant let this go back on the road, and i cant repair the problem.

he said, i can however TELL you what the problem is and HOW to fix it, but i'm not doing it. but he did

AA mate

I wasnt a member of the AA until Saturday when my electrics went and even though I wasnt a member they still arrived within half an hour and had a look and said he was gonna tow me home with the bar! Was home within the hour from calling them and the bloke was a nice geeza

Im with Norwich union direct breakdown cover (got it with my insurance)

Never used them yet actually so cant really rate them

My bro's with the AA and they tow his car home almost weekly, i think he knows most of the drivers now
