I got a few bits off him too. Spent around 160 pounds and after a few weeks no bits. I will give him more time. Looking at his feedback it does seem a little odd.

Set one up and sell an item, then log out and use account number 2 to bid.
Both can be tracked back to the same person/account and be blocked, proxy server info or something?

Does anyone know if his good feedback (before this latest
Bulk of RS stuff) was for RS stuff? It's all private so you can't see. Would also be interesting to see it as makes you wonder if he sold some bits & just used the same pics & went again to rake in.
It doesn't look great but on the other hand it's not exactly been forever since this last lot sold. He could have been in an accident or had a family crisis.
It just seems odd that he'd try & scam people as he's used PayPal. It's a pretty open & shut case with PayPal isn't it? ie they just take the money back from him.
I'd be more worried if people were popping up saying he sent me a 2nd chance offer & I paid outside of eBay. Or, people had paid via postal order etc.
I bid on the odd car and if I'm ever 2nd in line I seem to get some scammer sending a 2nd chance offer with his story of being away but me sending the money to an 'eBay holding account' as 'it's the safest way' And they concoct all these fake eBay emails. You've gotta be very careful of 2nd chance offers on eBay, doesn't look like the same thing in this case though.
I guess the people that have gone through legit have nothing to worry about so just got to ride it out.

Rang the land line number I found on another of his Ebay accounts (model cars this time : http://www.ebay.de/itm/Minichamps-Mo...item33706e0c2b)
Says "you've dialed the wrong number" even though it is as shown on screen.

GuernseyTelefon: 01481 247990
E-Mail: model1188@hotmail.co.uk
Last feedback on that account was 8/4/13 and was positive. All very odd...
I've asked 2 Guernsey dwelling friends if they know the person or the area, will report back if I hear any more.

I only mentioned my experience as the 2nd chance offer email I was sent was all designed as if it was from eBay. If in doubt, ignore emails & log on to eBay and go through there with the offer.

Makes me wonder what the 2000 + feedback is for as well....daft 60p LED's or something from China to build feedback up then rip people off? but why Paypal, it's a simple loose case!
I'm sure there will be a perfectly reasonable explanation for all of this, it just doesn't seem to add up.....
More negative feedback being left today

Some very rare Fiesta RS Turbo parts were for sale on ebay under the user name RS6600 (i think or thereabouts).
One item i saw was a brand new gear-nob which disappeared after a few mins of being listed, before i could clock the account name. However the item re appeared with exactly the same picture a few weeks later, along with alot of very rare parts....
When bidding on some of his rare items (to get "outbid reminders" on my phone) , i was inundated with "outbid" notifications, all with 9 days 20 hrs still to go!!!
All of the bidders were private, and some items had "THREE OR FOUR" bidders until the end but there was like 20 TO 30 or so bids by the THREE OR FOUR supposed people!!!
When a pm was sent asking for a buy it now price, i was informed by a "Graeme" almost immediately, that he wanted the items to run and "As he had more than the one of the same item available" I would be able to buy on a second chance offer, with money sent via paypal as a gift!!!!!!
What i did find strange is on the other accounts, rspartsdirect, escortcosworthparts, RS6600 etc etc, all of the items with time still to run had all disappeared all at once!!
The postage costs for all the items was very cheap aswell, considering its in GUernsey!!!
Again im only saying its very strange, and maybe there is a good reason for all this....BUT...would there be this much concern by others if everyone thought it legit??
Am i right in suggesting that you get a new IP Address from a different laptop and PC, and also if you log off and log on again and rebid???
Im sure it cant be hard to have a few laptops competing against eachother or just a friend to play "Bid Tennis" with???

Won 3 parts, countless emails, no replys, phone number not working. Does not look good, he's started getting negative feedback, only yesterday started my claim with eBay. Do I have to contact paypal directly for a refund or will eBay do that? Thanks.

13213132.02 and then .03 etc
Site's like Passionford are run on PHPbb's and have options to ban user by user name or IP address.
if you check IP addresses from someones user name on here as an admin and someone's ip is 123456789.32 you know it's from a much bigger server.(no normal person has 32 pc's in there household)
IP's can not be changed by turning router off, signing in and out etc. BUT there are loads of different site's you can go through to change your IP for that visit.
Even if you were banned on any forum you can go through another server to gain access.
Same idea as having your facebook, youtube type sites banned from use at work, you can bypass these if you really wanted to

Paypal is easily duped.
Simple, you sell lots of fake stuff, collect the money, withdraw it then empty the account the money went into, cancel DD mandate and/or close the actual account.
paypal have no way of actually taking any money from you.
I dont know if its changed, but last time i got stung on ebay, i had buyer protection blah blah etc.
Won dispute but got no money as there was no money in his paypal or bank account.
Depends on how the internet service provider allocate ISP's.

So .. You pay via PayPal .. Owner of said account drains the account and changes the bank account etc its linked to ..
In theory PayPal can't just pull the funds back as they would have nothing to get.
So do PayPal/fraudbay end up footing the bill to pay back the people who lost out ? Then try and get the money back through a legal fraud case ?
Just wondering like..

1. Open a paypal account, link it to a bank account to remove limits etc.
2. Close bank account
3. Forward all funds to a second paypal account as soon as they come in, no money can then be recalled.
