I have a few questions then. According to the rules listed above, std gold members cant sell parts on here if they have obtained them from another source.

So does this mean that they can only sell parts of there `own` car? If they are selling anything it must be sold at the price they payed for it or less, because it is against the rules to sell it for profit.

I cant see any logic in this. I see logic in somebody paying Ł20, selling 35 cars a year, Ł15000 worth of spares etc.. and not paying the traders fee and theyre posts being deleted.

spadge i havent repaid my Ł20 and i probably wont bother i hardly put anything up for sale anyway and hardly use the extra rooms.

originally i contributed Ł20 to keep passionford alive and now its turned into a heirachy of who can do what depending on whos paid for this that and the other.

The fact your registered as a company just means your not a total sponger who robs of us all by not paying taxes on your earnings and importantly, that your accountable for your actions. In this particular case, the latter is important.

The fact remains quite simple "IMO"
If you buy an item with the sole intention of sellimng it for profit, you are "Trading"

Trading is fine with me as long as you are a legit registered trader.

If you are always selling diffo parts then imo its safe to assume you could be classed as more of a trader. If on the other hand you are selling bits only now n then at minimal prices it’s prob safe to assume it’s just a hobby/one off?!

I think the reason somebody pays less of a "bedroom" trader is because they know they will get less service in the event of faulty goods etc.. but with a "real" trader you pay a bit more cause you expect more serivce.

they say they have families to feed etc.. got to make a living etc.. err who cares everybody in this country has to sustain themselves(criminal activity excluded) so why should somebody pay more to a "real" trader than a "bedroom" trader? How many traders have said awkk wee jimmy had it hard there, wife left him the kids need feeding and new school uniforms im gonna give him that for half normal price?

an exhaust to Turbo kid above
Pugos shox
some 17" wheels of my rst
ST170 brake fittings (that I gave away)
an old XR2 I used as daily transport about a year ago
some springs for an rst (again , off my old car)
and ref trailering cars, I've only ever moved 4!

No, The parts I'm selling tomorrow are all going for what I paid for them, I'm not making anything on them, remember now, this is legal, so I wouldn't remove it if I was you.
