The 'trader' knows Andy has bought it to take a few parts off and sell on the bits ,he has admitted this in the begining.
He knows Andy is not vat reg and not paying tax,therefore doing illegal trading,yes.
He has complained and Stu cannot let this go on.
If anyone is wishing to do this in the future, keet it shut!! about what you are doing.

the 2 sides to every story is just me trying to remain neutral so you can all have a fair say,
Tiff, Not aimed at you, nor Stu, as I have alot of respect for the man in setting up this site, am I not LEGALLY allowed to sell parts after Ł20 has left my bank account to be a Gold member?
I will be posting up what I have left tomorrow(not much), if it gets removed I won't be happy, I've been perfectly polite and courteous throughout the whole matter and to the best of my knowledge not broken any Pf rules, If it is removed, I would like my gold membership fee back or I will take this further.Not throwing my toys out of the pram, just try to see what I've been doing all night, and see it from others point of view,

theres a fair few mini hitlers on here ....god forbid a paying member lets there signature go 300 bytes over the limit, its almost instant dismissal
btw. for what its worth which prob. aint much, 100% behind ya Andy i mean ffs the guy is selling a few ford parts on a ford site.. in most instances you can do that for free on any forum. ok not on this one, fair enuf so hes paid Ł20....now he cant?!?!?!?

Most of the stuff i have for sale is my own and not bought for gain and i have broken less cars than some 'gold members' on here in the last 12 months!
I still however pay my 'Traders Fee' as that is what i am regardless of what i am selling!
No job on the side this is all i do but i do have other income
Traders are having to charge more i read recently to cover being beaten to cars for sale etc......

you only have to pay vat when your yearly gross exceeds 54k as a trader so him geting away with not paying vat cant be the issue as he wouldnt have to pay it anyway, sounds like a bit of a spitefull trick to be honest, but i dont know the full facts so i'll reserve judgement

you dont have to be VAT registered at all to sell parts
VAT registration is a choice upto a certain point of income
To sell under a company name that is different but selling privately under no name is totally fine as far as im aware
you telling me people at the car boot sales are VAT registered and have a company name

Dave cos, please list up where you got your information from? ie what source. If these are second hand parts then the vat has already been paid on them.

Im in the same situation as tiff and a fully agree.
I have no problem with it myself but on the other hand the moderators dont make the rules, we just try and make sure people follow them.

I like others have bought MOT failed motors because i need what ever parts for my own project and have sold what i dont need in whatever forum on here.
If i buy an old banger for Ł50 because it has a few parts i need that aint available because their rare (S1 parts), then flog the rest on here and make more than what i paid for the car in the first place, can that be really helped?
Surely it would just be plain stoopid to scrap the whole car when theres prob loads of clips, panels etc..... that people need for their own projects or general repairs on their cars.
I dont recall Auto Trader ever being a neiche market for rare parts, its places like this that make people in my postion able to do what we do with our beloved Fords.
I'm currentley in the process of going 50/50 with someone else on here to buy an old Ford so between us we can use the bits we need to further our own projects............
So what do i/we do now with what we have left of the car when we have taken what we need??
Personally i'd rather see the parts/bits goto peeps off of here rather than peeps from Ebay.

i was the one who pmd andy im a man of few words yes! well i see it like this as he has bought the car to BREAK and make some parts and bit of cash on its trading as it has been bought for profit! then i get not just one pm mate and it was nothing to do with atm before u keeep banging on at him about you trading on pf ryan was not allowd as he bought parts to make money on and your not for the same reason! end of statement and end of matter for me please i will not reply on this thread again
