It does sound a bit fooking stoopid if you ask me. THe point of getting the Gold Member status, besides supporting PF, is to allow you to post stuf fup for sale that you have/don't want/don't need etc...

I would hardly say i sell more stuff on here than anyone else Thrush
The only car i have broken this year to date was my own heap of shit
Most of the stuff i have for sale is my own and not bought for gain and i have broken less cars than some 'gold members' on here in the last 12 months!
I still however pay my 'Traders Fee' as that is what i am regardless of what i am selling!
No job on the side this is all i do but i do have other income

So, from the sound of it....you can break a car only as a non-trader if you do so at a loss.......sounds a bit stupid to me.
I can see a limit of maybe 2 (just as an example) per year or something like that, but ZERO seems a bit unrealistic given that selling cars/bits is supposedly a 'perk' of gold membership as stated currently
As far as I'm concerned, items are only worth what someone else is willing to pay. If one trader wants more for it than I'm willing to spend, I"ll look for an alternate source. If none exists, I'll re-evaluate what I'm willing to pay or just sit and wait.

its a joke, as some one said above, 9/10 times the money goes back in to there own car! just like mine does! i keep buying stupid project no-one wants, and never have anywhere to put em! hence me selling the lot and buying a transit! i never buy a car with the idea of making a profit... just break even and get the bits for my motors! like some one else said, if you dont like it, ban me. i dont care!

I got a PM from said Trader that Andy was breaking a Sapphire with the intention of making money. I was a little confused on the "in's and Out's" of the "Trader" definition so I put Andys post in the Sin bin till i found out what the crack was. I was ment to PM Andy and let him know what was going on but i will hold my hands up and say that i forgot....Sorry Andy
ANYWAY
A few days later i got a PM off Andy, this said that the Mod who deleted had spoke to Andy via PM..........But i hadnt
So basically i moved it in the first place till i found out what the deal with someone breaking a car was as i remembered a post about it but couldnt track it down.
But as for Everything that has gone on since then it has been "Adopted" by another Mod

As for the Trader involved with informing me....................OWN UP AND GIVE YOUR SIDE AS EVEN ANDY HAS SAID THERE IS 2 SIDES TO IT.

Tiff, I only recieved 1 pm, that is the one from above, I wasn't aware of a sin bin? I'm not so much pissed of with the trader, don't care really, just the fact my post was removed in a rude and unpolite way, (I can be polite in the most hardest of situations that wouldn't ever even enter some peoples minds, thankfully. Why can't someone sat behind a computer in a warm dry house have a bit of respect for someone and atleast put a few sentances together?) for something which isn't true, am I allowed to advertise the bits left over tiff?

that would go a long way to avoid this issue getting out of hand, because at the moment it appears very one-sided. There's always "xxx breaking" ads in Parts For Sale (2 or 3 now!) so what's the difference here?? There's no way andy is a trader, everyone knows that he's a firefighter surely?? surely if the rules are to be abided strictly then there should be NO traders parts in the cosworth parts for sale as they have a traders parts for sale and as the title says....this is for gold members only ......surely that means gold members and not traders

I for one think this board has turned in to a joke regards some traders attitudes to towards what we can and cant sell on here.
