I don't wanna pay the money (How much is it anyway) and be classes as a trader when I'm not, I've got my new Mk2 now and won't be selling any more bits after this anyway.Looks like it's gonna be ebay, or pay to be on here and put the parts at a higher price to subsidise my "traders" membership, hence why traders are, fairly enough, more expensive.

Mate, you took that way out of context, read the next line of what i wrote.

The point I was getting at was that when someone does that, they're taking a car in part-ex in order to pay for their hobby.

Like Andy's done with the cossie, difference being he bought it to get the bits he wanted and sell the rest.

Andy i understand what you are saying, i personally dont know what the ins and outs of this are all about as i wasnt involved but on the other hand we have to work by the rules we are given.

Please be patient, im sure the mod involved will reply in due course.

Exactly Andy you have a full time job, in my opinion the person who removed this post should speak up and explain themselves and why they done it. As paying members of this forum we are entitled to know. It could be time maybe that the mod has some training to clarify the rules or indeed rules printed to cover this grey area. Maybe a check list prrinted and a sticky made at the top of each sales page.

If you just bought it as it made the bits you needed cheaper then i can see nothing wrong with what you have done! If however you had bought it purely with the intention of breaking it on here to make a profit that makes you a trader regardless of what else you do for a livng!

Traders fees are there for people who are genuine fully paid up traders, Due to people abusing this system last year and folk being ripped of by individuals with no business sense or morals, this type of membership can now only be purchased by someone who can pay me with a business cheque that states his business name upon it. If you are unknown to me as a business (Not many in this business are) I may ask you to provide further details such as company registration number etc.

This way we have done all we can to protect the PassionFord consumers for rogue traders. Remember, newbies to the Ford Scene wont have a clue who is who trader wise so is an easy target to be instantly stung. Thats why these rules are tighter than you may expect.

Right, my mate wanted the low comp engine and bits that came with it, I wanted the filter and engine, I've GIVEN another mate all the subframes etc and standard 4x4 i'c as he's building a kitcar,and some other bits are being GIVEN again to fellow Pf members, the remains are on here, and another vreason why so cheap is cos the wifes cross about a shell in the garden!lol, sod it, do what ya want mods, it's going on ebay at a higher price,

what the mods are getting at that if you are selling parts knowing that you make money on,then you will have to be classed as a 'trader' to be allowed to sell these as the 'trader',legit one, pays 'TAX' on what he earns!

Stu, cannot let you sell things on here 'knowing' that you may make some money,therefore allowing you on here to sell things and 'not pay tax' on what ever you earn.

Stu can be prosecuted,whatever, for allowing this to go on, that is why 'traders' have to show thhat they pay 'tax'.
