Please, help required with Escort turbo
Please help
Today i decided to paint my rocker cover, so i dis-assemled the necesary and off i went. After puting the parts back together i started the engine however the car didn't seem to want to run. It just coughed and splutered and slowly died.
Does anyone have any ideas, at high revs the car runs perfect also i hear a hissing type noise from the area behind the rocker.
Thanks in advance

Did you change the rocker cover gasket?
Another thing (although I doubt this will be it) would be to check the idle screw on the throttlebody, it can somehow blow out, I know mine did and the car was acting just like you said
