Default Tracker/Alarm

As im sure we're all aware theres plenty of older fords being stolen recently.

What sort of security have you guys got?

I've got a Clifford G4 at moment which was already fitted and seems to work well (non-intrusive, some people hate clifford when they're setup overly sensitive) but isn't exactly bursting with features, also got a META immobiliser too. Thinking of updating though to something which does more, its annoying having to poke immobiliser fob in every time i wanna start too.

Who's best these days? I've never bought an alarm but a clifford dealer is local to me so was going to look at the Clifford range. Open to suggestions though. I want something secure, simple and effective. I'd like alert on the fob if possible cause im not usually too far from my car, and i want a good tracker. Don't mind subscription.

Get a top of the range tracker one of the ones that uses multiple ways for locating the car!
This will cause the thief lots of problems as they are rather difficult to block! Alarms arent so good when its being driven away on an official looking low loader.

Or leave a rattle snake in the cabin......

also if you tracker it dont put tracker stickers in the window yes it is a deterent but to a car thief if they really want it it is a warning for something to look for also try have it fitted somewhere hard to see e.g. above fuel tank

Had a fuel pump cut off hidden on my 3i cause it had an old Gemini alarm. Dad's more paranoid about my RS though.

I think i definitely want a tracker. They seem good value. I might just update the alarm to a newer model while having tracker fitted and get them to remove the extra meta immob. I dont need remote start n stuff cause i always leave it in gear anyway.

Toad Tracker can be linked to any alarm so if its triggered the tracker system alerts the system and they call you to confirm if its false alarm or not.
